TechWhirl: an awesome online resource for technical communicators

TechWhirl is an online magazine and discussions for today’s technical writer.

TechWhirl is an awesome and active resource that covers Technical Writing and Technical Communications in ways that are relevant to all of us. Started in 1993, TechWhirl Network operates three websites for technical writers and technical communicators around the world. We can follow blog posts on google+, access the online magazine, and access other valuable resources. Connie and Al, the new owners, are ever-present at technical communication conferences. ~3000 members post an average of 30-45 messages per day to talk about things that are important to technical communicators.

With active job search and career content, you can read about current technical communication job summaries, post jobs (like this information developer job on my team that I posted on behalf of Rocket Software), and read about your friends. My fellow STC Philadelphia Chapter Member Danielle Villegas (techcommgeekmom.com) got to bask in the light of professional recognition.
