The ability to write clear, correct English is an essential skill. From the many online resources that are available, I recommend the following sites and email subscriptions.
Daily writing tips and grammar blogs
I enjoy my email subscription to Daily Writing Tips for an easy-to-consume daily dose of grammar, spelling, punctuation, or vocabulary tips.
I also like the Daily Grammar Blog, a simplied teaching tool for all ages. Features archives, lessons, quizzes.
GrammarBook.com
Some advertising and popup Windows make navigation on GrammarBook.com less than perfect. However, if you can stand the distractions, this site is an excellent resource for easy-to-grasp English usage rules. Includes visual cues, and much-appreciated correct and incorrect examples.
